If you live in a cold country in summer you have to BBQ as much as you can. Use up the opportunity for the hot weather. Grilling every day gives you an excuse to be outside (not that you need one) and you get great food. Grilling is easier than most other forms of cooking and it is quick. Call a few friends over and you can have an amazing BBQ. It doesn’t even require much effort. Whether you are a chicken, beef or vegetarian we have summer grilling ideas that you will love!

Asparagus

Olive oil salt and pepper and grill. You can of course do this on the frying pan as well.

Pineapple

Brown sugar and cinnamon and grill the pineapples. This is great for a healthy dessert

Zucchini

· 2 medium zucchini, Slice them to ¼ inch thickness (long pieces) 1 tbsp olive oil, extra virgin
· 1 tsp parsley flakes
· 1 tsp basil flakes
· 1/2 tsp garlic powder
· salt
· black pepper

Burger

· 1 pound lean minced beef
· 1tsp seasoned salt
· ½ tsp garlic powder
· ½ tsp onion powder
· ½ tsp black pepper
· 1 tablespoon oil

To get the best results wait till the end to marinate your minced beef. When you put salt in beef it leaves water so when you marinate too early it makes the beef a bit dry. So wait till prior to BBQing before you put the marination. Don’t freeze your meat for burgers.

Spicy Chicken (Chicken tikka or Tandoori Chicken)

· 1 chicken about 4 pounds
· 2tsp garlic
· 2 tsp ginger
· 2 tsp salt
· 1 tsp chili powder
· A little bit of lemon juice
· Oil

If you aren’t used to eating spicy food put less chili powder. Keep the chicken tikka marinated for at least 5 hours (more hours is better).

Spicy Short Beef Ribs

You can use chicken tikka masala from Shan company to have great ribs. You can even use this on chicken and it is so good that you will be left licking your fingers.

Sweet Short Beef Ribs (Korean style)

· ¾ cup soy sauce
· ¾ cup brown sugar
· ¾ cup water
· 1 garlic clove, finely minced
· 2 green onions, finely chopped
· 1 tablespoon sesame oil
· 2 pounds short ribs
