Best Thai Food Restaurants in Toronto

Top picks

If you are faint of heart it might be best to avoid Thai food. However, if you love spicy food then Thai Food is probably at the top of your cuisines. Toronto’s Thai food scene might be the best in the world. It doesn’t taste exactly like the food in Thailand but it is still pretty great. We at PigeonTalk love Thai food and have a list of the best Thai food restaurants in Toronto.

Thai Food in Toronto

Pai

This is probably the best Thai Restaurant in Toronto. Even though they have huge space you will still find there is a lineup on a random day of the week. Bookings go away very soon so plan in advance. You might have to settle for a spot at the bar or wait in line but the food is well worth it.

They give you curry in a coconut how cute is that! The best dishes are definitely the curries, pad thai and the fish. The ambiance at Pai will make you feel like you are in Thailand. Looking for a Thai place to take a friend this it!

Khao San Road

Khao sand road is quite small and doesn’t take booking but it is one of the best Thai Food. Others might beg to differ but for me personally, this is the choice of Thai food I like to go to. The Pad Gra Pao is uncomparable and I went to Thailand and couldn’t find a better version. If you don’t like sunny side up on the top of your food ask for it to be on the side.

Selva

The ambiance here is great and considered an immersive experience. The food might not be as great but the ambiance more than makes up for it.

Sabia Sabai

Even the Marvel actor Simu Liu has said Sabai Sabai is his favourite restaurant so who are we not to agree? If you are looking to spot him he might be here when visiting Toronto. I have personally seen him there so can vouch for that. Sabai Sabai is on Yonge & Bloor and is similar to Khao San Road and Pai but somehow not as popular. The dishes are staples like any other Thai place. If you are going with friends get a Green Curry, Red Curry, and Pad Thai to share.

Isan Der

This isn’t as great as the other spots but it is a bit different and halal so it is worth one try if you are looking for something different.

Sukho Thai

My favourite dish at Sukho Thai would be the cashew nut chicken. It is spicy mixed with sweet be sure to get it in the spicy flavour. Sukho Thai is halal and well for Halal eaters out there, this is the best spot. It also has 3 locations which give it easy access. Looking for other halal places check out our list.
